GETTING HERE
Black River Lodge is located on the Black River Scenic Byway in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, just north of the towns of Ironwood and Bessemer. Most restaurants, grocers, and gas stations are within 10 minutes south and/or west. Recommendations available upon arrival.
Fly in via Denver Air Connection (Key Lime Air) from Chicago O'Hare or Minneapolis to the Gogebic County Airport, just 4 miles from the lodge.
For those driving in: We're about 2.5 hours from Duluth, MN, Wausau, WI, and Marquette/Houghton, MI... and about 4 hours from Appleton/Green Bay, WI. If your making the drive from the Mighty-Mac, we recommend M-28 for your journey and are about 6 hours from the Mackinaw Bridge.
We strongly suggest using Google Maps based GPS systems and not Mapquest/Apple. (We have found Map quest/Apple systems tend to send you in the wrong direction!)
