Indoors or outdoors, local or destination bride...BRL goes a step beyond your everyday banquet hall and takes the highest degree of care in providing a very personal, intimate wedding experience. Make us your first call as we provide assistance on local catering, linens, party rentals, decor, dinnerware & equipment, photography, bartending, party setup, and more. Don't care to hire in? Keep it simple if you wish! The lodge decor and atmosphere provides a cozy Northwood's/rustic feel and can be as simple or elegant as you desire. We have a lot of essential equipment on hand for you to rent, and we even have an option for you to bring your own food if you prefer to leave the cooking up to your family and friends. Don't forget the best part, lodging is included in our package for up to 75 people with extra space available at neighboring townhouses. So step outside of the box from the traditional wedding and make it weekend affair that the entire family will be talking about for years! Simple, yet elegant. Instead of traditional china, we've opted for Eco-friendly leafware. Made from pressed palm leaves, our dinnerware is leak proof and can safely be thrown away making clean up after your big dinner breeze!
We can recommend catering, or leave the cooking to family and friends. We are the only facility in the area that allows you to bring in your own food. Family style hog roasts are a fan favorite for our wedding clients!

The Bottom of the Barrel Cocktail Bar in the lower level of the lodge makes an excellent place to get your celebration on! Bring in a band for live entertainment or ask us for suggestions on a DJ service.
A weekend long takeover event means no rushing to decorate. Take your time and make it perfect for you. We allow you ample time to set up and tear down.

BRL WEDDING PACKAGE
All wedding events are customized to your wants, needs, and inspirations. This base wedding package is the start to your personalized weekend event and includes general rental of the entire Lodge plus our coordinating services. Available add-on's are included below, however we will discuss pricing during initial consultation. If you do not see something you need, please ask. We are open to most requests and can easily work with you on a reasonable cost.

We booked the resort for the entire weekend of our reception for a very reasonable price. The weekend turned into a wonderful time decorating and celebrating with rooms full of friends and family. Brittany and Justin worked with us every step of the way choosing table placements and decorations, even lending some of their own. The help that we received was above and beyond what was in our contract and it made our reception absolutely perfect. The entire event was stress free for my husband and I, they took care of everything. We checked in to other reception options in the area and I can happily say we picked the best place possible.

We came to Black River Lodge after my dreams of a barn wedding were a bit crushed. I had talked on the phone with Brittany (one of the owners) and she immediately showed me that she was going to be easy to talk to about anayything that would come up during our time planning and then throughout our wedding weekend. My future husband and I scheduled a meeting and both were very impressed with the venue and could really start to see our wedding celebration come to life. A couple moths before our day, we planned another meeting to find a place to have our ceremony. We found one! Brittany and Justin both saw our vision and helped us see it through. It was like a fairytale. I know that sounds cheesy, but it is so true. The whole weekend was so much fun, having everyone under one roof, just being able to spend time together and relax. I would recommend Black River Lodge to anyone looking for a wedding venue that is made to feel like you're spending the weekend at your very own north woods, very large cabin. It's the perfect place to have an intimate ceremony with your closest family and friends.
